What's in my March Ipsy Glam Bag? - Day #3

beauty.

Thursday Review:
Pixi Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer

I am obsessed with foundation primers, so I was super pumped when I saw this product in my Ipsy bag. (I had also heard great things about the brand in magazines and other beauty blogs.)
Primers, in conjunction with a moisturizer, set the stage for your makeup. They are designed to prime your face so that your foundation stays put throughout the day. Although this primer is hydrating, I still used a moisturizer underneath --- it would probably be okay to use solo, but I am a slave to moisturizers (I want my skin to stay as young as possible for as long as possible).

The primer, very light-weight, goes on smoothly (just used my hands) --- leaving my skin looking naturally radiant --- which is the company's mission. (And, any company that works to bring out natural beauty is good in my book!)

If you have never tried a primer, this one is a great one to start with. It made my skin look so good (literally glowing) that I was able to use less foundation --- just a dab on my trouble spots.

At only $9, a complete steal (much cheaper than my more expensive and also great option, Smashbox's Photo Finish), this primer is gets two thumbs up. The Pixi line also has a redness-reducing option I plan to try next time.

Find Pixi products at your local target or by visiting their website. (My Target has a great selection.)
